Shhh! Take a deep breath. 1…2…3… exhale. Tom Hiddleston has a new girlfriend. Don’t cry! Don’t freak out, Dragonflies! Your Dragonfly King has found himself a mate, and it’s fine. Apparently, Tom debuted his new girlfriend at Wimbledon last week, where he sat with his lady Jane Arthy. You can see a photo of her here. Jane is an attractive woman, a Londoner and she does something with music. Her Twitter says, “hello friend…..i do stuff with music. London”. So, there you go. He’s dating an attractive British woman with a Twitter account. He was also photographed on Sunday night (I guess?) with yet another woman. OH NOES. You can see the photos here.
The Hiddleston-devoted websites and Tumblrs went crazy after Elle UK editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy tweeted: “I sat next to actor Tom Hiddleston and his girlfriend Jane #wimbledonfinal. He’s a very funny man.” Tom confirmed that he was at Wimbledon on Sunday on his Twitter, writing: “London last night. On the way home from Wimbledon. Best day ever.” And of course, “Andy Murray. You astound me.” Is it weird that I can actually hear him saying that? “Andy Murray, you astound me!” Ah, well.
What else is there to say? Tommy got a girlfriend and it’s not the end of the world. I’m not judging those ladies who are currently acting like it’s the end of the world, though. If Benedict Cumberbatch had some kind of record exec girlfriend, I would be throwing a hissy fit right now too. While I like Tom and I think he’s handsome, I’m not all up on his junk, you know? I’d rather get some Cumberbatch and Fassbender action. Or at the very least, I would prefer to see Tom with Tilda Swinton.
